Allied Telesyn and WelTec announce Scholarship Multi-national company Allied Telesyn and WelTec's School of Information Technology have announced a significant scholarship for a second year information technology degree student. Murray Wills, Head of WelTec’s School of Information Technology said that the Allied Telesyn Scholarship will offer paid summer work with Allied Telesyn and a cash grant. “One of WelTec’s major goals is to provide practical, industry relevant courses,” says Wills. “Last year degree students worked on a project with Allied Telesyn as one of the requirements for the degree. This partnership and the scholarship are a recognition of the work the School is doing and an indication of how valuable industry sees this relationship as well."
