Originally part of the DSIR, Allied Telesis Labs—based in Christchurch, New Zealand—joined the Allied Telesis Group in 1999 and is now a major development centre for the group .
With a broad suite of products, Allied Telesis provides solutions for an impressive range of network applications. Our Products
Allied Telesis takes pride in designing secure, easy to use and affordable networking equipment. Allied Telesis Labs has risen to this challenge by developing some of the company’s most advanced products in New Zealand for international markets.

Working at Allied Telesis
Allied Telesis employs a range of people in different roles to manage and support our core business, including Customer Support, Documentation, HR, Administration, and Finance, with the majority of roles in software and system testing.
Software Engineers
Software engineers participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle. Our engineers assist in gathering functional requirements and specifying technical requirements alongside the development, testing, debugging, and maintenance of our advanced AlliedWare® software.
System Test Engineers
System testing plays a critical role in developing quality software and products and ensuring that customer requirements are met. System test engineers are required to validate software and products prior to release, which involves creating thorough test plans, specifications, and reports. At Allied Telesis, system test engineers work on a variety of projects, with testing ranging from systems integration to performance analysis.
